Budget Caviar: Recollections Microbeads and China Glaze Flyin’ High

Who says you can’t have caviar on a budget? Ciate caviar manicure sets are $25 at Sephora and I wasn’t convinced I’d like the look on me.  I knew there was a DIY version using microbeads from the craft store, so I decided to try it for myself.  Because of the bold teal color, I settled on one beaded nail that “splashed” onto the middle finger.  It looks as good as the real thing to me.

For this mani I used two coats of China Glaze Flyin’ High and Recollections Microbeads (from Michael’s craft store) in Ocean.

Later, I did a french manicure version using pink and silver microbeads. Click here to see it.
