China Glaze Harvest Moon Tape Mani
My stash has grown so large, so fast, that I try not to re-use polishes too regularly (except for my go-to black/white staples and sparkly topcoats). But I broke my own rule and pulled out Butter London Slapper just a short few weeks after featuring it in the Five Golden Rings mani. I knew I wanted a teal for this look and Slapper is a great teal.
I started with two coats of slapper then strategically placed 3 to 4 pieces of striping tape to each nail and added one coat of China Glaze Harvest Moon (from the Hunger Games Collection). Try to have a system for placing the tape so you can remember the order each piece was applied. For a clean look, you need to remove the last piece first and the first piece last. Otherwise you’ll pull up tape at the intersections and end up with a mess! I know…I had to start from scratch on my thumb!

Aaah teal and browns go together so well! I think I might try a similar combo. Thanks for the inspiration and the striping tips :)
I wouldn’t have thought to put these two colors together but I LOVE it. I love your style and plan on getting plenty of inspiration from you in the future. :)
Thank you! You are so sweet.
