China Glaze Neon Skittles
Happy Fourth of July! I know this is a slow blog traffic day so I celebrated the holiday early (see my Miss Independence mani). Today’s post is special because it’s the world internet debut of my right hand! Yes, I have one. I was blessed with good nails on both hands (but my cuticles…not so much). This shoot required some creative camera holding and some help from my husband. It makes me laugh to even type that.
So here’s a Skittle mani using all China Glaze neon polishes. Most of these (but not all) are from the 2012 Summer Neons collection: Surfin’ for Boys, Turned Up Turquoise (it’s hiding), Beach Cruise-r, I’m with the Lifeguard, Purple Panic, Sunkissed, Love’s a Beach, Splish Splash
I only used 8 polishes and repeated a color on my thumbs from the opposite hand. I started with a coat of OPI Alpine Snow “underwear” so the neon would be bright. This was a fun look that definitely got me some stares at the drive through window (“Who’s the old lady with the neon polish?”) But you only live once!
Left hand, whom you’ve met many times before.
Right hand, camera shy, but cooperative.
So what do you think is the max age to wear this look in public?
Disclosure: I have no material connection to the products used in this post.

These colors look so nice!:)
super cute!!! LOVE these colors. great mani!
I feel the need to click my ruby red slippers together chanting “you’re never too old, you’re never too old” just to make it true.
I love this mani so much it makes me happy just looking at it. Your right hand looks just as flawless!
I think as long as you’re comfortable with it, wear it! I, myself, wouldn’t probably dare wear it out after 40, but that’s me, i’m sometimes afraid to wear short jupes, although i’m satisfied with how my body looks (and ngl, i love my legs and butt), and i’m 17
Thanks, ladies! I’m not 40 yet and I’m sporting some ruby slippers so I guess I can wear this look for a little while longer!? :)
