Bordered, framed, edged, outlined…I don’t know exactly where this mani style originated, but I know it’s been around a while. This is the first time I’ve tried it. There are several ways to achieve this look and I probably didn’t take the easiest route. But I love the result just the same.
I started with two coats of Wet n Wild Megalast On a Trip and then framed each nail with So Easy Black Stripe Rite. I’ve read on other blogs that starting with your frame color, taping off the tip, then cutting in the inner color…results in a cleaner lines. I’ll have to try that next time.
I really like the Wet n Wild Megalast line. You can’t beat them for the price and the colors are nice. I must have 3 dozen purples but none quite like this. I like the Stripe Rite striper polishes because they behave more like acrylic paint than polish.
