Glitter Geometry: OPI You Don’t Know Jacques and Butter London Rosie Lee

I’m falling behind on my work manis. It’s tough to find fun things to wear to the office without risking a side-eye. Lately I’ve been using a neutral polish and adding a little somethin’ somethin’ to a single accent nail. Not a nail on each hand…literally, just one nail. On my non-dominant (left) hand. That way, if I’m reviewing papers or pointing to a screen, I can use my boring ole’ right hand (keeping my single rebellious finger out of sight).

For this mani, I used two coats of OPI You Don’t Know Jacques, then taped off one middle finger in a triangle pattern and swiped on a generous coat of Butter London Rosie Lee. I just love pink and brown together.

This is very simple and pretty, très chic!

  2. I really like that look. That glitter is very recognizable. I’m not sure why I don’t have it yet.

Oh I love it!!! And this is just my way of amping up ‘corporate nails’ too :-)

  4. Thanks, ladies. Now that I’ve overcome my OCD about having matching hands…there are so many things I want to try on a solo finger for work!

  5. I love it! I like adding geometric glitter, too.

  6. i never would have though of putting these two polishes together but they really look great!

Very pretty! I have both of these polishes and never thought of combining them in one look. They really go well together.

I love pink and brown together, too! It’s so warm and feminine, yet still solid and strong. You Don’t Know Jacques has been a lemming of mine for ages now… I really should track down a bottle.

have you seen this manicure on pshiiit.com? it looks really similar to what she did with rosie lee and triangles like that are her trademark mani. :)

  11. I love everything Camille @ pshiiit.com does! I just went searching for the mani you mention. I didn’t realize it, but mine looks like the beginner version and hers is the advanced version! :) For everyone else, here’s the link: http://pshiiit.com/2012/01/28/butter-london-rosie-lee-paye-ta-paillette-rose/. She used a nude Essie and Rosie Lee triangles at the base of each nail. So pretty.
