Vivid Lacquer Your Princess is in Another Castle

Today I have my third and absolute favorite Vivid Lacquer polish so far, Your Princess is in Another Castle. I wanted to keep it pink (especially to show off the black glitter) but I also wanted to see it over black. So I did both. I painted a wide diagonal Essie Licorice stripe over two coats of Zoya Shelby. Then I polished over everything with two coats of Your Princess is in Another Castle. I love love love how it turned out! It’s not your standard pink girly glitter mani.
This polish really is stunning. You can see in the close-up that it has a variety of glitter: small, dense, irridescent pink and holo glitters, larger pink square glitters and black hex-shaped glitters…all packed in a pink jelly base. It has the perfect amount of black glitter, I think. It makes this polish different from all the other pink glitters out there.
I didn’t try this polish on it’s own, but I’ve seen other swatches online and it builds to a shiny, light pink finish with three coats. Also beautiful!
Vivid Lacquer polishes are handmade by Anni and are available in her Etsy store for $9 (full size) and $4.50 (mini size). You can also find Vivid Lacquer on Facebook. Check out Paint Me Patriotic and Waltraud too!

This is very pretty and cool! This takes me back to days of playing Nintendo. Not DS, not even 64… just Nintendo. Haha.
Very nice! I love the combo.
I love pink and black together, and the glittery finish puts a really awesome spin on the combo.
love it!
Awesome idea to do it with the black stripe! It shows the polish well in multiple situations, and on top that, it’s just a plain great looking design. ;)
Wow! I wouldn’t have thought to showcase this polish the way you did! I might try this soon!
