Kwik Zoya Kelly
Today I have a quick, office appropriate mani. It starts with two coats of Zoya Kelly, a creme polish that manages to be gray, purple and blue at the same time. Kelly was originally released as part of Zoya’s Fall 2010 Wonderful Collection, but it got a reboot this year when it was one of about a dozen polishes worn by the models at Rafael Cennamo’s Spring 2013 New York Fashion Week presentation. Zoya has pegged Kelly as an alternative to black and a neutral. I must agree.
The polish looks really purple at the Zoya website, but it’s definitely more gray in real life…which I like. To spice it up a little, I took a medium striper brush and quickly (like lightning fast) applied matte stripes using Sephora by OPI Matte Top Coat.
The OCD in me doesn’t like to see the sloppy lines in the pics. But it really is so subtle that unless someone corners me with a DSLR camera and forces me to pose for hand shots against my will…I think I’m safe!
Disclosure: At this time, I have no material connection to the brands or products used in this post.

Kelly is one of my fave Zoyas ever! I LOVE what you did with the topcoat – must steal! I think the only issue that would annoy the heck out of me is the glossy part not having topcoat – or did you do a topcoat THEN matte? :)
I did SV, then matte stripes. I contemplated doing SV, full matte, then SV stripes because I thought it would be a cooler texture to have raised, shiny stripes. But then I realized the ridiculousness of me analyzing my topcoat options so rigorously. Polish addict problemz. LOL
this is a pretty grey! I used to wear alot of greys, teals and blues in winter
I love your nail art *__*
thats amazing! I just did a post on gray inspirations!! this would’ve been perf.
