All that Glitters is Gold (Glitter)
Lately I’ve been a little obsessed with gold polish. Glitter, shimmer, foil…it doesn’t matter. I’ve stockpiled a few gold-on-gold manis and I decided to lump them into one sparkly, precious metal post.
First up is my all time favorite gold glitter polish, China Glaze I’m Not a Lion, with a dabbed stripe of Milani Jewel FX in Gold down the center of each nail. Protect your eyes…do not stare directly at the glitter!
Here’s my favorite metallic gold, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Golden-i, with two coats of Models Own Ibiza Mix. I love this polish because it has pastel glitters in with the gold…which lets the gold take center stage.
And finally, I have Zoya Goldie which has a warmer tone to it. I used craft scissors to tape off a patterned line and finished with two coats of China Glaze I Herd That.
It’s amazing how many varieties of gold there are! I have my polish organized by brand and then by color…so I don’t realize how many variations of a single shade I have until I pull them all together. I could probably do ten more all gold mani posts. Yikes! But seriously, they are not the same…only similar. Sixteen shades of gold is totally necessary. Trust me! :)

i love gold polishes too! they are SO versatile and look great as an accent to any base colour!
The Sally Hansen Golden-I is the best gold polish staple, IMO. And it’s so cheap. I also love their Celeb City, the silver.
I’ve been meaning to pick up the gold Milani glitter for ages, now I think I have to! LOVE the two China Glaze glitters too, they are so gorgeous!

LOL. That is like the nicest compliment ever. I totally know what you mean! I felt the same way about the Dip Dye mani I just posted. Once I saw it on another blogger…I couldn’t get it out of my head. We are crazy.

I’d have to say the Milani brand is really underrated. Thanks for showing it. They carry some pretty nice colors & the quality of their polish is way better than I expected before trying it for the first time. Think it’s about time to revisit my Milani polishes.
