Deconstructed French Manicure: OPI Second Honeymoon
I’ve had this mani in the queue for awhile. It’s just so snoring-boring that I’ve avoided posting it. But alas, work manis deserve their time in the spotlight too. So here’s my deconstructed version of a French manicure. The base is two coats of OPI Second Honeymoon. Then I stamped the square pattern from BM-204 in various positions on each nail with Konad Special Polish in White. I like this design…it’s a subtle way to rock some stamping.
I guess it doesn’t hurt to be demure every once in awhile. What do you think? Too plain to even be worth the effort?
Disclosure: I have no material connection to any product used in this post.

I think its elegant and classy. Very pretty and not boring at all.
Thanks! I’m my own worst critic!
I like it too! Very sweet. I’d also like to see it though on a deep, dark navy for a fun look :-)
That is an excellent idea. I’m thinking China Glaze First Mate with a white stamp.
Gorgeous! I did somethins super similar on my mom with Revlon Midnight Affair as the base and the stamp in silver :) Love the white one nude :)
It’s just SO beautiful!!!! I love it! I would wear it quite often! <3
Thank you. It’s definitely something I’m comfortable wearing to work.
I really like it! It’s very subtle. That is THE thing that makes it beautiful :D
Thanks! I seriously thought no one would even visit the blog today because it was so boring. LOL
This is gorgeous! I love the crazy bright but I hope I remember this if I ever get married it is a perfect bridal mani. I love it!
Amanda…you may be on to something. I hadn’t thought of bridal.
I think this is really great! Demure but definitely not boring.
Thanks, Tara. That means a lot coming from you!
So beautiful! It’s nice to know you don’t have to have just french or plain coloured nails when something brighter isn’t appropriate. I agree it would make a lovely bridal manicure if you’re having a more traditional wedding. :)

Thanks, Ra. And thanks for visiting! :)
This is not boring at all! I love how classy it looks :)
Thank you. Thank for reading. I love your blog.
Absolutely beautiful! Very elegant, would look beautiful and more dramatic with the same stamping in black over nude.
Yes! I love black and nude together. I keep a list of manis to try and this is on it!
Boring? You have to be kidding. THis is a very pretty, subtle manicure. I love love your manicures – seriously!
Thanks, Mel. That means a lot coming from you!
Psh, not boring at all!

How on earth are people talented enough to do things like this? As a hopeless failure at nail art, I look on with envy. :) If you care to check out my blog, it’s about natural healthy beauty! :) http://wearyourvitamins.com
Ha ha! Thanks, Marisa. I will check out your blog. :)
I would wear these in between wearing some super bright nails. I like contrast. :)
