Hi guys. I have a special Sunday post! On deck for the blog are swatches and a review of the new 6-piece New Years Collection from I Love Nail Polish (ILNP). Typically when I do collection posts, I only do one or two photos per polish because: a) I like to to see the whole line in the same lighting, poses, etc., and b) I’m anal retentive. But once I got the first New Years Collection mani finished…I didn’t want to take it off! I’ll give you complete info about the talented Barbra and her awesome indie line in the upcoming review post. For today, this post is dedicated to All Gold Everything.
All Gold Everything is a gold glitter topper. I started with two coats of Butter London Slapper, a teal fave of mine from the Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. Here I’ve only used one coat of All Gold Everything. It’s packed with multiple shapes and sizes of bright and shiny gold glitter. I see small, medium and large round glitters and medium and larger hex glitters. The large hex glitters have a holo finish. This polish is super sparkly! It looks expensive.
Application was great. The glitters spread easily and the finish was surprisingly smooth on its own. I used two coats of Seche Vite. One thing you’ve probably read as part of every ILNP review is that the packaging is amazing. Barbra has spared no expense. Each bottle comes in an incredible box and the labeling is really high end. She’s a woman after my own heart! I’ll show you more about that in the full collection post.
ILNP polishes are $10 each for a 12ML bottle. You can purchase them in the ILNP Etsy Store. Barbra has her own blog and her I Love Nail Polish Facebook Community page has a huge following. She’s a true polish lover and a great supporter of indie brands and nail bloggers alike. So please check her out!
