Vivid Lacquer The Evil Collection of Evil Swatches!

Today I have swatches of Vivid Lacquer’s newest collection, The Evil Collection of Evil! Anni, the brains behind Vivid Lacquer, is always so clever with her Collection themes. This one is inspired by Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-Long Blog. They go on sale later this week!
I should start out by saying that every polish had a great formula and was easy to apply…even A Real Audible Connection with the larger heart glitters. Each mani is topped with one coat of Seche Vite unless stated otherwise. So on to the swatches….
You Are NOT My Nemesis has a clear base with blue shimmer, silver and teal hexes and large teal diamond shaped glitters. This is two coats over Essie Licorice. Check out that shimmer. Very pretty! It makes the black base look navy blue! I love that effect.
We Do the Weird Stuff is a bright pink tinted jelly base with primary colored hexes and round gold glitters. I love the mix of royal blue and red glitter in a pink base. You don’t see that very often. My swatch is one coat over OPI If You Moust You Moust. The tinted base really kicks the OPI up a notch, doesn’t it?
Crazy Random Happenstance is a warm orange tinted jelly with multi-colored shredded glitter. This is one generous coat over two coats of Zoya Cola. Cola is pretty dark, so you can see this polish has decent coverage.
A Shiny New Australia has a lime green jelly base with micro and mini-flakie glitter that makes it a cool topcoat on just about anything. It also has larger kelly green round glitters. My swatch is two coats over Pure Ice The Secret is Out.
Evil League of Evil is a fuchsia tinted jelly with sparkly pink microglitter and larger black, blue and silver square glitters. I’ve shown it over two coats of Zoya Demi, a dusty muave purple. I love Demi so anything on top of it is a bonus. :)
Layered Like Pie is a pumpkin jelly with red, bronze and the occasional blue glitter. I know I tend to get kind of matchy-matchy with my indie undies…it’s the OCD. This is one coat of Layered Like Pie over China Glaze Desert Sun. I was so pleasantly surprised by this one. I didn’t expect to like it…but I love it!
And last but not least… A Real Audible Connection consists of large purple, red, white and blue hearts in a clear base. I’ve shown it over two coats of China Glaze Jitterbug, a dark, silvery gray. As expected, this one required some significant fishing, especially since I’m anal retentive about no two alike glitters being next to each other. :) But it really wasn’t difficult and was definitely worth it. I used two coats of Seche Vite for this swatch.
Anni says “Get your PhD in Horribleness at 2pm on January 18th!” All of her polish is BIG3 free and available in her Etsy store for $9 (full size) or $4.50(mini). You can also find Vivid Lacquer on Facebook.
So my favorite is You Are NOT My Nemesis, followed closely by Evil League of Evil. What do you think?
