China Glaze Make an Entrance with Pelican Gray Dots
I winged it today. (Wung it? Wunged it?) I went hunting for a pretty darker pink cream and found China Glaze Make an Entrance. I have no idea how I came upon this polish. It was part of the Creme Couture Collection way back in 2007 (pre- my re-obsession with nail polish). I used two easy coats then came back in with a dotting tool and China Glaze Pelican Gray and made random dots in one corner of each nail.
It’s simple, but I like it. Pelican Gray has a slight shimmer that you can’t see in the pics. I topped the mani with China Glaze Fast Forward which is super shiny. It smeared just barely, but you’d need a microscope to detect it. I should have waited just 30 seconds longer! But I’m too impatient.
And here’s Make an Entrance sans dots. The color looked dead on in one monitor but too pink on another and too light on my iPhone! It’s a touch deeper and leans purple in real life.
Disclosure: I have no material connection to the products used in this post.

You make me weak in the knees! I have polka-dots on my nails (just the accent nail on each hand) this week, too! Is that a sign or simply sheer coincidence?
It’s super pretty!!! I love the dots!

Gorgeous!
Cute dotting! I absolutely love that pink too!
It’s “just” a pink creme but I love this shade SO much! Thanks for showing it.
