Digit-al Dozen Does Love & Heartbreak: China Glaze Sunday Funday
It’s the final day of Digit-al Dozen Love and Heartbreak theme week. I made it. So for my my last mani, I started with two coats of China Glaze Sunday Funday from the Spring 2013 Avant Garden Collection – Blooming Brights. Then I freehanded a heart and half moons in China Glaze Lorelei’s Tiara.
Sunday Funday is a really bright blue cream. I’ve read reviews where it was described as a buttery one-coater so I was pretty excited for that. I found it to be a little watery…but opaque in two coats. Very pretty and clean looking.
Lorelei’s Tiara is from the China Glaze Eye Candy Holiday 2011 Collection. It has dense silver glitter and larger blue glitters. I used a small nail art brush to apply it. I didn’t cover it with topcoat because I liked the 3D textured effect.
Tried as I may, I couldn’t quite capture the sparkliness with my camera. This pic is a little overexposed, but you can see some of the twinkle.
I have the entire China Glaze Avant Garden Collection. If I can get it in gear…I hope to swatch them all.
And here’s day five of the other Digit-al Dozen Love & Heartbreak works of art!
