China Glaze Fancy Pants just got Fancier!
If you’re one of my few Instagram followers (hey, I’m slowly figuring it out!), then you know about my polish debacle last night. I was all set up and raring to go – ready to swatch the entire China Glaze Avant Garden Collection. When alas, tragedy struck, and I suffered a nail lacquer fatality. Poor Keep Calm, Paint On didn’t make it. At least we know it would have wanted me to carry on and post today!
After scrubbing shimmery mint green polish from my hands and floors, swatching was halted for the day. So here’s one beauty that I finished. It’s Fancy Pants from the Avant Garden Blooming Brights. It a blueish purple with lots of pink shimmer. I dinged up the tips in the “accident” so I salvaged the mani with a light gradient of China Glaze Fairy Dust.
Fancy Paints is a super pretty shade. It was my favorite just by sight. I can’t wait to get my act together and try the rest (minus Keep Calm, Paint On, of course. RIP)
My Keep Calm Paint on was really thick and gloopy :(
Shame, it looks so pretty in the bottle !
A shame about the Keep Calm, Paint On. I am all about mint green right now, unless I am wearing bright blue.

Sorry about the Keep Calm, paint on. It looks like a pretty color. But you came back with a win! Fancy Pants is awesome! And that little bit of Fairy dust gives it just the right amount of shimmer. Love them both and have added them to my wish list :)

There’s something tragically fitting about Keep Calm, Paint On being the one to go… So sad, considering I was really looking forward to your swatch! I love mint greens. RIP KCPO!
