I’m going to be a posting machine this week. There’s so much wonderful polish that comes out in the late Fall each year…it’s tough to keep up! I have something really exciting starting a week from tomorrow and I want to fit everything in before then (STAY TUNED!) Today I have three beauties from KBShimmer’s recent Blogger Collection. Christy Rose chose 11 bloggers to help create a unique polish that “captures the feelings of winter and the winter holidays.” (Original press release here.) I really love how all of these turned out! So creative! Each swatch is three coats of polish and two coats of KBShimmer Clearly on Top topcoat.
This first one is by Victoria from the Manicurator. Snow Much Fun was designed to represent the first snow. It’s a light blue jelly with multi-sized white, blue and holo glitters, as well as large snowflake glitters. It’s delicate and sparkly…just like snow. It does require some fishing since the snowflakes are so large, but application was a breeze. I used three coats – but one coat over a light blue base would be stunning too.
Green Hex and Glam was created by Kayla from Kayla Shavonne. Can I tell you how much I love this name? Genius! This polish is a deep green jelly with holographic hex glitters. It’s so intense. I love it.
And last, but not least, this is Christmas Now by Crystal at Crystal’s Crazy Combos. It has a combination of multi-colored squares, stars and circles suspended in a medium green jelly base. It’s like a decorated Christmas tree in a bottle! The glitters went on perfectly smooth.
KBShimmer also released a beautiful Winter Collection which I’ll swatch separately. I love her polishes because they’re always well…polished. She pays attention to the littlest details and it shows.
Both the Blogger and Winter Collections are available now at kbshimmer.com for $8.75 each. KBShimmer will also be offering free priority shipping through 12/31 for all orders over $50. Follow KBShimmer on Facebook, twitter, and instagram for news and promotions.
