Here’s yet another nail blogger who needs no introduction! To read nail blogs is to read Sammy of The Nailasaurus! I LOVE her inspired, easy-to-follow tutorials! I also love her clean blog design, perfect photography and oh, she’s pretty cool too. I’m fortunate to have “met” Sammy recently and I look forward to getting to know her better as we help start a new project (more to come on that). Sammy didn’t hesitate to participate in this series and I’m so grateful. Thank you so much, Sammy!
I’ll be donating another $10 to the Polished Girlz for Sammy’s awesome post! If this is the first post you’ve read in the WPP “Blogging for a Cause” Guest Post Series…pop over to the intro post here to see what an amazing organization each of these bloggers are supporting with their participation.

I have to start with a big thank you to Leslie for hosting the series and to the amazing Alanna for bringing Polished Girlz to life! I’ve felt so inspired learning about Alanna, her charity work and all of the volunteers who work so hard to bring the joy of nail polish to so many young ladies. I’m really happy to be able to contribute in my own way.
Now that the holidays are behind us and we’re in 2014, I’ve moved away from the Festive theme of the series and focused on some New Year appropriate nail art. They say you should start the year how you mean to go on so what better way than with some sparkle! Okay, a lot of sparkle!
For this nail art, my base colour is China Glaze Cowgirl Up. I painted on some triangles near my cuticle using a nail art brush and Essie Nothing Else Metals. Finally I filled in the triangles with a no-name holographic glitter polish from Claire’s and topped it all off with Rica Glossy Glam top coat.
