Butter LONDON Summer Holiday Collection 2013: Sunbaker and Bit Faker Swatch, Review & Nail Art

Disclosure: Products in this post were provided by the manufacturer, their PR firm or retailer for my review.

Happy Monday! It’s here again. I spent a good part of the weekend at a track meet. I did really well. I placed in two events: snacking and cheering. :P

Today I have two polishes from the Butter LONDON Summer Holiday 2013 Collection. I was intrigued when I first saw the press release (here). Initially, the colors didn’t seem like a summer bunch to me (no neon or primary colors like we’ve seen from most summer collections). But now I think the range is perfect…tan, turquoise, precious metals. It may not be backyard barbecues and Florida beaches…but it’s definitely Saint-Tropez.

First I have Sunbaker, a rusty orange shimmer/metallic. This is one of those stunners that practically glows. Application was perfect. Not brushstroke-y at all like I expected. My swatch is two coats.

Butter London Summer Holiday (Summer 2013)

[I swatched part of this collection!]

Make your getaway with the Summer Holiday 2013 Collection by butter LONDON. This season is about being inspired by raw cultural elements and gilded textures. Mix and mash prints, and revel in fabrics that are foiled, embossed, and authentic. Sultry metallics in platinum, gold, and rust evoke luxury, while crushed glitter in rich shades of copper and umber are offset by an accent of African turquoise.
