Happy Monday! So I have three Zoya Summer Collections in line for swatching – PixieDust, Stunning and Irresistible (in that order). Irresistible was, well, irresistible, so I skipped ahead. (Don’t worry, I’ll circle back to others.) Irresistible is a collection of “Super” Foils. The finish is similar to Zoya Ziv from the 2012 Ornate Collection. That’s the best way to describe just how foil-y/metallic-y these are in person! All swatches are two coats without topcoat.

I’ll start with my fave, Bobbi. If you look closely, it’s a mix of pink, fuchsia and cool gold. It has so much depth. Of course, I love all pinks!

Illamasqua Throb and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Celeb City French Mani

Today I have a French Mani using my first and only Illamasqua polish. The only thing I know about Illamasqua is that I have to look at the bottle each and EVERY time I type it so I spell it correctly. It just won’t register in my brain! Throb is an easy red creme from the 2011 Throb Collection, which has three polishes…all with gross names. Call me a prude, but I like my cosmetic monikers to be a little less edgy. But I’ll let it slide because I loved the polish. On to the mani!

Butter London Jack the Lad and Finger Paints Figure of Art Saran Wrap Mani

can’t believe the end of January is already here! Before I know it, the weather will be warmer…so time’s a wastin’ to try my winter untrieds. Today I have a Saran Wrap Mani using Butter London Jack the Lad and Finger Paints Figure of Art. This is the first time I’ve used either of these polishes.

Pure Ice On His Saddle and Bring on the Joy

Disclosure: Products in this post were provided by the manufacturer, their PR firm or retailer for my review.

Today I have a simple tape mani with two Pure Ice faves, On His Saddle and Bring on the Joy. Both of these polishes were part of the 2012 Limited Edition Holiday Collection (I swatched them here and here.) This collection became quite the hot commodity late last year. While these colors may not be available anymore…I recommend you always peruse the special collection Pure Ice displays whenever you’re at Walmart. In fact, I believe some of the new releases are actually renamed polishes from the Runway Trends Collection.

Digit-al Dozen Does Festiveness: String Trees

Today is Day 4 of the Digit-al Dozen theme week. Isn’t this fun!? Today’s mani is awfully similar to Day 2. Again, I taped off triangles to represent Christmas Trees. Only this time I was inspired by a Christmas decoration in my house. I have a set of of three sparkly silver “wire” trees. I saw them from across the room and it reminded me of Victoria’s Rainbow Nail Tutorial at manicurator.

Pure Ice Purple Rain

Today I have another mani using polish from the Pure Ice Runway Trends release. There are 55 total shades in 5 different collections. I’m slightly embarrassed to admit that I’m the proud owner of 48 of them. I know, I know…that’s craziness. But they’re only $2 so why not? Plus, I’ve had great results with every single polish I’ve tried. So here’s today’s mani…
